Cosmetics on a whim ♥

I’m not really the girly girl type, but I love cosmetics! And most of the time, I buy them on a whim. But since I’m really broke right now, I cannot splurge on cosmetics. So I’ve decided to list down the things that I only need.

1. The Bodyshop’s All in One Face Base

My ever favorite compact. I’ve decided to give this a try last year, and I easily fell in love with it. The coverage is really good, and it’s hypoallergenic (I have a super sensitive skin). It has a clean finish, like you’re not wearing a face powder / foundation at all! I’ve tried quite a lot of face powders, bb creams and foundations in the past, but so far, this baby is still the best! 

I still have one but my compact is near empty. And if I can only buy one product among the three that I’ve listed, I’ll choose this without batting an eyelash :)

2. Etude House’s Color My Brows

I haven’t tried this product… yet. But I have a friend who’s in love with Korean Cosmetics and she said that Etude House products are really good. I’m not that into Korean Cosmetics because of the “cute” packaging… (yeah as weird as it may sound, the cute packaging sort of turns me off). My friend is using this product, and I like how it looks on her brows.

My hair is dyed in the lightest shade of brown, which somewhat looks like gold. And I have thick black brows. I’ve tried quite a number of eyebrow products but I haven’t met “the one”. Actually, what I wanted to do is to use a permanent eyebrow dye, but I dunno where to buy one or if they have the same color as my hair.

3. NYX Round Lipstick

NYX Round Lipstick’s may not be the best lip product that I’ve tried, but the wide array of colors entice me so much. 

I’ve listed down the colors that I want to buy and they are: Chic, Miracle, Stella, Narcissus, Eros, Orange Soda and Hot Pink.

NYX Round Lipsticks are cheap and they are on par with the name brands in terms ease of application and color. Unfortunately, they don’t last much and they’re easily wiped off. But hey, they’re cheap and I can buy all 7 for the price of 1 name brand lipstick… so I choose NYX because I prefer to have more xD

The bottomline of this post is that I need to start saving in order to buy them all.
